![]() If you want to melt bosses as fast as possible, your setup would win. In group play, you'd probably be better off juicing up with the auras you mentioned.Īt the end of the day, it's just a different strokes for different folks situation. ![]() I agree with using Infinity, but I'd stick it on my Merc and maintain Insight on the Golem.ĮDIT: I play mostly solo, which makes a big difference. IMO it's overkill damage that is better utilized elsewhere. And I'd much rather have HoTO for the FCR/Skills/Resistance than use Beast for Fanaticism. Everything non-boss dies instantly when I teleport on them, then CE clears the screen. Golem mastery guarantees the golem lives, which keeps Insight up, which so far has been the biggest quality of life improvement save Enigma.Īs far as all the auras go, yeah they would eek out some more boss damage, but it would take Diablo from an 8 second kill to something slightly lower. To me, 1 in mage and revive is more than enough. I feel like we have opposite takes on +skills for summons. My build is very effective, I'd say it's my most powerful and efficient character. ![]() Teleport will gather your golem, which is done with an offhand staff (Naj's Puzzler is the best option) or ideally Enigma. There are places (think walkways prior to Chaos Sanc) where your golem will get hung up and disappear if you outrange it. IMO it would be worth it at lower levels to sacrifice points in CE/Skeleton to max out Golem Mastery to gain the Insight + Merc Damage as it would probably speed up leveling a lot.ĮDIT: Be wary of losing your golem. In fact the only time I've lost an Insight Golem is when I've died myself. I've seen mine slowly getting low a couple times, but only in crazy situations like Amp Damaged + Fanat pack and he's the only target because he wandered away. The golem will be tanky enough from the Mastery that he should never die. ![]() This allows your merc to use a much beefier weapon (Eth Obedience on mine). By doing this, I can make an Iron Golem out of an Insight polearm (base doesn't matter, they're not for damage) and gain the mana regen from him, enabling basically endless Corpse Exploding/Teleporting. Recently I respecced my summoner and put 20 points into Golem Mastery and 1 into Iron Golem. ![]()
